Prague with kids

Should you travel with your kids you have to find something to do also for them otherwise they get bored. Here is something to do for them….

I would suggest walks in the public parks. Some of them have a playground for kids. Walking in the parks can be a relaxing time for the whole family after miles of tourist marathon.

Take them to the ZOO. Opening time. Autumn Winter 9-16 Spring Summer to 18-19.Visit the web page in English. Take bus 112 from subway station Nádraží Holešovice Line C Red.

The Prague Castle hosts inside the Museum of Toys opened every day from 9.30 to 17.30. Nice collection of toys from ancient Greece to nowadays for kids and grown up kids.

There is a lot to do for kids on the Petrin Hill most of all during summer. The easiest way to get there is the funicular running every 10 minutes from 9.30 to 23.30.
To go there get off at Ujezd by tram 6,9,12,22,23. The ticket costs 20 Crowns for adults and 10 for children up to 15 years.

As you get to the top during summertime you can find horse rides for kids. Not far from here there is the copy of the Eiffel tower 60 m high built in 1891 showing the cultural friendship between Prague and Paris.
Opening time May August 10.00 to 22.00 April September 10.00 to 19.00.October 10.00 to 18.00.
From November to March just during weekends and holidays from 10.00 to 17.00. No elevator…
Close by there is a mirror maze for kids and grown up kids… Opening time are the same as for the Tower.
